YouTube now generates royalty-free music. ChatGPT's memory just got better.

That sound you’ve been searching for but can’t quite find? Now you can generate it.

YouTube is rolling out an AI-powered Music Assistant that creates custom, royalty-free instrumental tracks based on a simple text description. Just tell it what kind of music you want, and it builds it for you.

The tool is available in the Creator Music marketplace and is currently being introduced in the U.S. No word yet on international access.

Meanwhile, ChatGPT’s memory feature is getting an upgrade.

A new "Reference saved memories" function allows the chatbot to refer back to earlier interactions, making follow-up prompts more accurate and less repetitive.

The update is rolling out to Pro and Plus users outside of the UK, EU, and other European countries. If memory is already enabled, it will be switched on automatically. This has potential for improving workflows across content creation, support, and research.

How to Avoid Strategy Fatigue

You know the cycle: your CEO returns from a conference with a “brilliant” new idea. Everyone gets hyped. Then… nothing. It fizzles out before it even starts.

That’s strategy fatigue—too many shifting priorities, not enough follow-through.

According to Gartner, the average company has made five major strategic pivots in just three years. It’s no wonder progress stalls.

Here’s how to cut through the noise, based on advice from Graham Kenny:

  1. Not every idea is worth pursuing.
Set clear criteria to evaluate new initiatives. If it doesn’t align with your core strategy, it’s a no—or at least a not now.
  2. Use data to rank ideas.
Frameworks like RICE (Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort) help you assess ideas based on objective value vs. effort.
  3. Test before you scale.
Don’t go all in on day one. Run small experiments. If something shows promise, then invest.
  4. Track everything in one place.
Maintain a single pipeline of non-core projects. Review it regularly and cut anything that’s not moving the needle. The “one in, one out” rule can help keep things focused.

More ideas don’t mean more progress. Say no more often—so you can say yes to what actually matters.

Want to Rank in AI Search? Prioritize These Four Models

SEO isn’t just about Google SERPs anymore. The game is shifting—fast—toward AI-powered search.

If you want to stay visible and competitive, Bruce Clay suggests optimizing for the four AI models already shaping the future of discovery:

1. Google’s AI Overviews (AIO)
Google still owns 87% of the U.S. search market. AIO answers appear directly in the SERPs, reducing the need for clicks—and changing user behavior.

Why it matters:
AIO pulls from Google's index. If your content doesn’t rank in the top 20 results, it won’t be considered. Pages featured in AIO get 3.2x more clicks than those that aren’t.

2. ChatGPT (OpenAI)
ChatGPT uses Bing and other data partners to generate responses. With 400M weekly active users and nearly 20% of the AI search market, it's a major traffic driver.

Why it matters:
High Bing rankings now influence AI visibility. ChatGPT referrals grew 123% from Sep 2024 to Feb 2025—a clear sign it’s becoming a meaningful distribution channel.

3. Perplexity AI
With 15M monthly users, Perplexity crawls the web in real-time and cites direct sources in its answers—favoring clarity and credibility.

Why it matters:
Perplexity rewards organized, authoritative content. Use headings, FAQs, and strong source signals to increase visibility. As its adoption grows, expect user behavior to shift away from traditional search engines.

4. Microsoft Copilot (via Bing)
Copilot displays AI answers above traditional Bing results, and its “Deep Search” option delivers even more context.

Why it matters:
Ranking high on Bing is critical. As Microsoft continues investing in Copilot, its influence on search visibility—and SEO strategy—will only increase.

The takeaway:
Traditional SEO rules still apply—but they’re no longer enough. To win in AI-driven search, focus on authoritative, high-ranking, clearly structured content—and align with the platforms reshaping the landscape.
